can only go upto 1600*1200

HI All,

Hoping someone can help. have a brand new Asus VH226 monitor, when i first set it up i had the capibility to run it at true HD 1920*1080. However i cant now. tje max it will go upto under vista ultimate is 1600*1200 what have i dione? My PC is dual booting with windows xp and i can select the high res in XP. Please help. all the best

Is the monitor being detected correctly by Vista? Nvidia controll panel allows you to input custom resolutions manually, try inputing 1900x1200 at 59 or 60Hz and see if it displays.

do you have another display connected at all?

tried a driver reinstall?

Think you mean 1920x1200

Or even 1920x1080.

If you have an ATI card get CCC to add the setting for a 1080p TV to the resolution list.
