I got this in the sale, and I have to say that was worth every penny - Steam rocks

One of the most original games ever and as for the end, that's mental!

Portal Prelude was a bit of a disappointment IMO. It was very well made, I'll give it that, but unfortunately it just wasn't fun, and I have no idea why. Pick up this instead though: http://portalmaps.wecreatestuff.com/ it's a good map pack.

I completed it last week as just bought the orange box, mainly played it because of the ending i heard about

.

Was a real good laugh and bloody tough to work out what to do in some places but was well worth it.

+1, im playing through this atm myself, amongst other things. Its great stuff.

I've completed the original Portal about 7 times now. Still one of the best games I've ever owned.

loved portal,

thought it was almost over when i got to the final level...... then loved the parts at the end that were not part of the ''tests''

best ending ever for a game, with one of those songs that gets stuck in your head for days!

I was lucky in that I new nothing of the ending when I played Portal and it came as a great surprise. Superb.

i agree there, i gave up on chamber 3 i think, pixel accuracy jumping is not fun.

This is how it was for me too, given that I played (and completed it) on release day. I actually played portal before I even thought about EP2.

Haha I was standing there idly on the platform and thought - hang on, the kit might work at 4000* but what about me, and managed to get off at the last second!

Then I was trying to work out how to drop the portal device and lay on the floor, I must have gone through the control options about 7 times to no avail

Me too, and I've only just this minute completed it, have been avoiding all portal threads since it was released
