What games are likely to test my 8800GTX within the next year or two @ 1680x1050?

Because I'm considering upgrading, but only if Empire Total War Struggles on the 88GTX. But what other games is there going to be that it will struggle with? and will it even struggle with ETW?
 
Not sure when Alan wake is coming out, not sure how demanding it is either :p (I'm guessing reasonably demanding)

Maybe Ghostbusters will stress it? :p
 
"none" is the answer then basically? Apart from people with 24" and above, Why is everyone bothering to upgrade to 4870s and the like then? when a 4850 and below is fine for everything bar GTA4
 
I honestly think the only one is already out: Crysis.

Game devs wont make any more powerful game than Crysis for a long time imo, as its been out for over a year and it's still hard to run.
 
Well as I've completed both Crysis games that doesn't bother me.

Does anybody know what the requirements for ETW are likely to be? Because that's one game I really want to be able to max out.
 
Depends how bothered you are about frame rate and AA etc. If you're not too bothered then quite a while unless ATI and/or Nvidia come out with an amazing card for £100-120 that everyone buys. Most people don't buy a £300 graphics card.

to have a better pc?

its not like technology stops at a certain point and you wont notice any difference until you get a 24" and above.
