I love vinyl, just a b*tch to transport around :) Moving to CDJ's soon.

Have a look at Rane Scratch Live or Final Scratch...much better than CDJ route. ;) You keep the same skills you've learned on real decks and can have your entire collection on the laptop whilst playing it all with the timecode vinyl.

Vinyl never really died out, its always been around and I always try an buy on Vinyl first.

I agree, it never really went anywhere, just a lot of people switched to CD, there are quite a few who still prefer the vinyl sound though.

Yeah I've seen Roni Size use them before, they seem pretty neat actually. But surely a CDJ Unit is smaller than a Turntable :p I love my Vinyl but its just a matter of space and portability!

Good news, I've been meaning to shift my collection for ages. Got a massive rack of late 90's/early '00 D&B, house and hiphop taking up room at my parents house. Might be able to get some decent ££ for it now.

Just need to find a decent way of shifting it.

I love the look of those Switch, which is generally considered to be the better product, Rane or Final Scratch? Would be very interested to give them a go. :)

AS said, it never went out.

You had to look at little harder in places maybe, but it never went.

I used to buy mountain loads, stopped now though. Got too expensive and addictive!
