Got a 'large,' meat feast thin crust one from Pizza Hut. Massive box, good service but the Pizza was anorexically thin and skimpy on the toppings. It tasted fine, but at a price of £12.50 I felt ripped off!

Pizza is only poor value fast food if you buy it from a large chain like Pizza Hut.

I agree but I must get 20+ menus through my letterbox every week here in London from random chicken/pizza places - everyone I've tried basically use the same base, same ingredients and cooked using the same automatic pizza ovens - They are all pretty awful and I always feel like I should have paid the extra for a Dominos.

Indeed. Independent places, if they are good, are the best value, same goes for most fast food. If it has to be from a chain then go Dominoes.

yea theres a local one near me thats really nice not to far from tasting as good as a dominoes and for the price of a decent dominoes pizza i can get almost 3 from the local shop

Pay the extra for the dominos?

Find a local Italian restaurant that does takeaways. Our nearest one does awesome pizzas. Quality not quantity, which you won't find at Pizza Hut.
