Do you also support Al Qaeda as well as Hamas, or do you stick to supporting just the one terrorist organisation at a time? After all the we and US have Al Qaeda surrounded with the Worlds best weapons systems and quite regulary kill hundreds of those buggers.

Israel is well within it's right to tell the rest of the World to **** off and keep it's nose out of what is Israel's business and nobody elses.

Don't know how al-qaeeda suddenly got into this. But how many in the world asked the US to stop the war in Afghanistan?

The comment above is clearly not objective. Where does the person you quoted say they support Hamas's actions? WHy equate this to supporting Al-qaeeda?
 
The world including some of you on here should be utterly ashamed. Just because you see the fairer skin, english speaking, western dressed zionists on TV you can relate to them more and feel as though their lives are more valuable and you stay quiet when they illegally occupy Palestinian land, bulldoze their houses, murder children and women indiscriminately. Some of you lot are really hypocrites of the worst kind.

No one in their right mind condones the killing of innocent jewish women and children, the killing on both sides is wrong. But when one side is equipped with the latest weaponry, and answers to no law, massacres women and children on a daily basis, you stay quiet? :confused: Not only that when the Palestinians actually fight back with what little they have, which in comparison to Israel is next to nothing, they are terrorists? Do you want them to simply let Israel take over without bothering to defend their land? :confused:

Its mind boggling how the world allows a terrorist state like Israel to continue doing what it is, and then when anyone tries to even arm the Palestinians with anything at all they are labelled terrorists. If they want to fight it out why is no one allowed to arm the Palestinians? What are they suppose to fight with I don't understand? Are they even suppose to fight back? Look at how many of them have been killed in comparison to Israelis, its blindingly obvious who the aggressor is.

The saying of the prophet pbuh is most certainly true...

The muslims are in a real sorry state at the moment because they have left their religion, and it will get a lot worse yet before it gets better. But God willing I hope things turn around in our lifetime and we all get to witness it.

If someone from england fired a rocket over the border into scotland and killed someone, because they were illegally occupying english land, no one in their right mind would condone them sending in tanks and fighter planes, and bulldozing houses, and killing hundreds of english people in return. I bet if some of the english fought back then with suicide attacks and gave their life you would regard them as heroes. Infact, I know you would.

Everything said against Israel is absurd, we already know. :) To simply even try and justify their actions though shows there is something seriously wrong with your mentality. For crying out loud, even jews are opposed to Israels actions. You need to sit back and think to yourself, how should the Palestinians defend themselves, and if you feel that they have no right to defend themself because their lives are not worth anything, then there is no helping you so its pointless engaging in conversation with you.

And do I believe the reason why the world is sitting back allowing the massacres to continue is because the Palestinians are muslim, you are spot on.
 
This ground invasion is out of all reasonable proportion. Firstly, I hope you are not implying anywhere that I condone such actions as suicide bombings in crowded civilian places?

Secondly, how do you suggest the Palestinians fight against such advanced heavy machinery? I'd love to hear this. Should we not equally arm them and let Israel and Palestine fight it out and leave them too it? Or do you also want to see one side incapacitated first and medical supplies and food blocked off to them?
 
My brothers girlfriend is jewish, from the golan heights. I was asking her about the current situation in gaza. She said that it was similair to what happened a few years ago with lebanon and hizbollah, things were quiet for a while, then hamaas decides to launch rockets indiscriminately into israeli areas, israel waits a while and does nothing, the rocket attacks continue then israel decides to strike back. My brother was over there in 2006 when the golan was under attack from rocket fire from lebanon, said it wasnt a nice place to be.

I hope non of your brothers girlfriends family were injured or hurt during any rocket attacks firstly. It is common knowledge that Israel has been illegally occupying Palestinian land, and bulldozing their houses, not just now, but going back quite a long time, so this incident isn't something new which started with some rocket attacks, its been on going.

To think this whole thing started with hamas firing rockets into Israel is being very naive. While Israel 'waits and does nothing' as you put it, they were actually continually carrying out their operations, they have never actually withdrawn from Palestinian land, just look at how many women and children they have killed. They simply do not care. When I say 'they' I dont mean your brothers girlfriend because I know many israelis and jews strongly oppose Israels heavy handed tactics and the murder of innocent civilians.
 
In a way i can understand the reaction of the palestinian people, its a bit like how northern ireland was in the early 70's, the nationalist people here found themselves in a position were armed struggle was the only way out. Thankfully that has changed here now, where the gun and bomb have been taken out of the equation. In israel and the palestinian areas both have their own territorial claims to different parts of the country based on ancient religious and cultural ideas. I do agree with israels right to defend its citizens and territory, but i think they have been a bit heavy handed .

Are you saying that those Imams who call for such actions are wrong then, because they seem to have the mosques available to them to preach their message.

Who cares how they're armed! They instigated a war, and if they lose then it's tough luck. If they don't want to lose then the answer is simple. Don't keep aggravating the most heavily armed Country in the region!

Who is "they" exactly? Innocent civilians?

I can understand Israel not wanting rockets to be shot at them and I am no supporter of Hamas but what Israel is doing is very heavy handed, it is like they wait for an excuse and then go in with 100x more fire power all guns blazing.

We could leave them to it like we do with a lot of conflicts but these F-16s came from the West so I feel we have a responsibility to protect innocent civilians.

Did the rockets cause as much damage as the collateral damage caused by the Israeli invasion?

Isreal have been calling up people in the buildings that are being hit and telling the inocent Civillians to get out.
And also telling them in certain Areas to stay away because thats where they will be targetting.

They are trying to keep Civlian casualtys to the minimum. But in war you can still expect the wrong people to get killed.
