There was no whack to the back of the head, if anywhere the keeper got him in the lower back. As for Young, he was the main offender when it came to diving.

I can't see either us us budging to be fair so i'll just say that although I didn't think Villa deserved their win today, good luck to them against their opponents in the next round.

This is set up for Anderson to get his first United goal today.
 
What role is Berbatov supposed to be playing today? Because he just seems to be playing the "Running round in circles giving the ball away role" tonight.

The penalty wasn't a pen and everyone likes an upset regardless who's playing, that's why everyone's bashing Villa I think.


That and Martin O'Neill is the most annoying manager ever. ;)

despite the fact that Paterson seemed to connect very, very firmly with Nemanja Vidic's shin, the United defender didn't make a great deal of it.

To be fair, you could pull off his arms and beat him with the soggy ends and I don't think Nemanja would be that arsed :D

Giggs has been exactly the same we get in the final third and everyone runs back towards our goal

Wellbeck took a knock anyway so we may well see El Blanco Pele

I wonder if the Southampton staff will feel a bit daft when they see that replay, how on earth can they moan about that..

I just pretend Giggs isnt there anymore.

There are Giggs, Berbatov and Neville who just have no idea what to do going forward. You have 2 or 3 players peeling off in front of them into space or in a position for a through ball and those three either just give it away or play it backwards.

Obviously I'm biased, but I think that's a penalty whoever it is.

O'Neill is and O'Leary was too nicey-nice in front of the cameras, it's bloody annoying.
