Software to rip audio track from a DVD so I can listen as MP3?

I have a couple of music DVDs that I want to rip so I can listen to the MP3 tracks on my iPod.

Is there any software out there for Windows / Mac that makes this relatively simple? I haven't had much luck so far

Any ideas?
