Good value mens clothes online

EDIT: infact sod it.You want to save a few pence here and there, be my guest.

I don't need to justify my spending habits, nor prove to anyone that I'm financially stable for the forseeable future.

You've basically said several times over that given the choice between paying £70 in a store, and £35 online you'd pay £70 in the store and your reasoning was..... because you'll be out having fun in them while the rest of us wait on our deliveries or because that £7 you spend on fuel going to try them on would negate any saving, even though if you do the complex mathetics you might find out that £35 is not equal to £7. So on one item you'd save £28, but you still wouldn't because of all that fun you have in your jeans.

It literally makes no sense. Why pay double the price for something, when you don't have to?

Just do what I do and buy good clothes once every two years, i.e 5 ralph polo shirts, 2 sweaters, 2 fleeces and 3 pairs of jeans. job done and they'll last me a life time.

I'd rather shop in the highstreet. Generally I can't save that much online as I don't often buy big brand names, and I prefer to try things on and see how they go with other clothes without the hassle of sending back etc.

Thats a mission trip, In future I'm going to have a mold formed of me and send it along with my personal shopper. I think I've just struck gold.

I wonder how much it would cost to get a mold made of me, I think that could be pretty cool. I'd put it on my front lawn.

You could attach a quote box sign to it with one of those digital text displays and alter it as if you were shouting different quotes to any passers by.

If you buy clothes online (stuff like TSHIRTHELL and that are perfectly fine though since you can't buy custom novelty tshirts elsewhere) then what do you buy down town?

Ok, if your town is ASS and has shops that only sell cakes or something then fine but if you're buying everything online then when do you go out to shop!

I buy most things online but when it comes to clothes and things like that I always go down town and buy, they're no more expensive than buying online with the benefit of being able to return them asap if something goes wrong, also you can see if the item actually fits you too. Don't know about anyone else but I fit into Small AND Medium depending on the top I buy and the shop it is bought from but if I bought another top from the same shop that's from another season then the same size may be too small or too large - sizes are never consistent in my experience and neither are jeans waist sizes - some brands always being an inch bigger.

But if I've gone to town and found what I like, I... buy it.

Whats the point in waiting another 3-5 days, and then risk the item being damaged.

All to save a fiver? No thanks, I'm not that hard up.

To save a fiver? no dont think so more like save £50 jeans....

If I were to save £50 on a pair of jeans, the clothing company would have to pay me between £5 and £15 a pair.

In dean_ham's opening post he says he is interested in jeans around £120.
If he chooses to buy the same pair online for £70 it's not being lazy,
it's not more complex and it's not just saving a fiver.
