Me and my girlfriend (21 and 26) are thinking about going away somewhere for a bit. We have only been going out for about 4 months now. She mentioned Prague. What's it like for young couples. The two of us can't stand lying beside a pool in the sun all day. Prob going away around June July time. Any other alternatives to Prague although I'd like to go there anyway. Would like to go somewhere where we can go out for the day. Sight seeing etc.

Me (25) and my girlfriend (26) have been to Prague for a week for the last 2 years. There is plenty to do with regards to sightseeing, it is a beautiful city.

Theres lots to do here and the Czech Republic is a relatively small country, so at the most a 2-3 hour train ride away to nice lakes and countryside and some nice castles.

Theres lots of sites here, churches, the castle, the monastry and its generally a nice city to walk around.

I cant give advice speaking for what its like for young couples, but there seems to be plenty walking around!

Me and my Mrs have been 4 times and we're 22 and 26, you will bloody love it mate, just make sure you eat and drink away from the touristy areas which myself or slambo can advise you on.

Went to Prague on a school trip (Age 16 at the time) , got let out down town just students because of a sixth form girls birthday. Got mashed, into a strip club and got a private lapdance. plus had to get a metro on our own back to the hotel.

All amazing at 16 to be doing. but how irresponsible is that of the staff !! :D

Prague what a beautiful city !

Cool. Thanks for the info. Any advice where on where to stay. How much money would be needed for a 7 day trip.

Is there any places that are a must to see or go. Any do's and dont's

St. Wenceslas Square at night.

Thats a dont if you already have a girl... :o

Im not sure about hotels since Ive never stayed in one here but others will advise probably.

Karlštejn castle is a 14th century castle and its about 25 km outside of Prague. You could get a bus there for the day its a very nice castle and a nice place to visit and wander around.
