Point of View GeForce GTX 280 1024MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) -
(£224.24)

Zotac GeForce GTX 260 "Maxcore" 896MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (£212.74)

The cheapest 2 .
Be mad to buy a 260 over a 280.

How does the performance of a lone 280 GTX compare to SLI 8800GT's anyone?

Tempted to upgrade for that price tbh (if its an upgrade)

Be dropped to make way for the 285 in 3 days, as that'll no doubt be coming in at what these were going for (£320+ or whatever it was), so they'll be wanting to get rid of their last stocks seen as they deed. :)

looking good for me im due a new card.

you see the EVGA 280.... the SC one is overclocked 21mhz more and costs an extra £110 lol hmmmm thats a toughy which one lol

When you look at the price now which i doubt is below cost, it really brings home how much of possible mark-up that is accumulated from production to retail on some items from launch.
