Captian of Crush grips

I woulnt start on the number ones unless you consider yourself fairly 'trained' If youd feel very comfortable holding 100-120kg on a bar (deadlift style) you should be able to close the number 1's

To be honest i have a friends who comfortably bang out 130kg for decent reps on D/L and they couldn't do it... i remember asking on here about them and me doing 500lb deadlift and when i got them i could only get them together a couple of times.

I think it must very much depend on the person and also the training which is being done most often i.e. for me i train mainly on the bench and deadlift (little squatting done) whereas other people may train heavily on the non-compound exercises...

Also i give the 1's out at my place of work now and out of 70+ guys who have tried to close it only 1 has done it and he does 0 weightlifting or anything, naturally strong mehbeh?

I was DLing around 230 when i closed the #2, but i've never failed a max deadlift due to grip.

i can load another 20 or so kilos with straps so im on the limit but i think grip will always surpass lifting ability beyond a point. Im sure someone closing the number 4 could hold 500kg yet very few people have ever lifted half a ton and never in tested comp afaik

Holding a 20kg plate for a good minute is hard IMO. However I use the 25kg plates - I can't do the 50kg plate :( What you can do to make it harder is put 2x10kg plates as the grip is wider or 3x10kg plates if your hands are big enough.

Well just placed an order for the 1's from IronMind Enterprises in the USA ended up costing me £24.00 not sure if I will have to pay import duty ?

I guess I should have got the 2's at the same time oh well  wasn't thinking

didn't want to go with Kettlebells version probably really good but I want that record when I close the 4's :D

Big difference between the ones and 2's m8 so dont worry yet. The 4's require something special to close, its not just a matter of training grip for those ones, its genetics and excellence in all areas of strength sports, even hand size will come into it!

I don't think I will ever get passed the 2's but I can dream ;)

when I got the trainers I had trouble closing them more than Twice  so for now the 1's will be fine
