Glad this wasn't me!

there's not a lot he can do tbh

and it doesn't look like it's caused much damage anyway
serves the owner right for having a rover

Probably the car owner for not informing the driver about the bollards, unless they were informed then the AA.

Either way . . .

Haha, whoops! I remember seeing another video where that happened... people were trying to follow a bus into a bus only road and the bollards came up.

Wouldn't it be the AA driver's fault? He should know he's entering a controlled zone with rising bollards and should anticipate the bollards rising up. I can't see how it can be the fault of the car owner.

Wow, thats a bit naughty! As for damage, it could be quite significant depending on where it made contact....some bollards like those wrote off a brand new Volvo in Aylesbury town centre when they were first introduced!

I might've done the same. Surely the barriers should leave more than enough time for the car to get across? Seemed to come down pretty quickly.

edit: unless it's operated by sensors, in which case, fair enough. :p

These barriers are a bit stupid, really. I mean he did indeed wait until the lights went green and they let him through. It seems wreckless to have bollards which don't have some sort of sensor before they rise?

It's only a 200 quid rover 400 anyway. LOL

so if it was your car and i said, who cares its only a poxy mazda how would that make you feel?

the blame would lie with the AA guy as he was in charge of both vehicles but in the end it was a simple mistake that could have happened to anyone in that situation

Barriers like that are designed to let one car/van through i would have thought, arent they? Unless the barriers knew that 2 vehicles were going through then it is natural that the barrier will drop and the bollards will rise once it senses the 1st vehicle has gone through.
