and lol @ asking for refund on 260 purchased a few days ago. You'll be extremely lucky if they let you, that would be mega pushing your luck

Looks like a right bargain, regardless of thesenew cards coming out. Realistically they aren't going to be worth the premium over a GTX280.

I got a GTX280 a few months ago just as the prices were starting to rocket (£242) as I didn't want to get left behind.

Wonder if ATI will try and fight back by cutting prices on the 4850x2, I really can't see why anyone would want to buy a card other than the GTX280, unless their either can't afford it, have bucketloads of cash and want a 4870x2, or are adding a second card for sli/xfire.

Ordered 2 x point of view gtx280's saturday along with loads of other stuff! Wish i'd of waited now, i would have ordered 2 x bfg cards at nearly £40 a card cheaper and more warranty!! Anyone know if i can ring the shop and change?? Order staus is currently in our warehouse queue.

The trusty 8800GTX will have to keep eating things i put in front of it albeit at lower details :cool:

If it was only saturday just return them under the 7 days DSR for a full refund no Q's asked

edit, or if not dispatched yet cancel the order?

Well i've just sent a web note explaining what i'd like and if it would be possible, i'll wait and see what they say. Would be nice if they could as i've ordered a complete i7 build ,i'm itching to get it together asap and evict my old p4 to the loft as a file server!!

We have not end of lifed the GTX 280 yet and will be stocking them alongside the GTX 285 when they arrive.
