GA x38 DQ6 ethernet driver

this board has been great until recently, updating drivers has been a doddle, but the realtek ethernet driver update is pushing me to the limit!! :mad:

i have tried every bloddy driver out there and everyone loads but just sits there with a pop up saying detecting ethernet network card and cable and will not finish the installation.

does any one have any idea why this will not finish the installation?

does any one know how i can remove the drivers all together and start from scratch?

Don't use the installer do it manually (the proper way lol) goto device manager find the ethernet adaptor and select update driver, piont the wizard to the location of the new drivers and you should be good to go.

If that doesn't work, try downloading latest driver, then un-install the existing one, re-start and install new one.
I have this board and can't fault it at all, really happy with it!

SP2 installed if using XP?
