What kind of issues encourage or enrage you?

Just need a little help here. I'm a terribly laid back person, so few things really enrage or encourage me. The latest project brief for my art foundation course requires me to find such issues to make a project about.

Please er... be serious about this?

Family stuff (i.e. arguments, etc), college stuff.

Basically, I only really get massively enraged by personal issues. Random news stories or whatever do not matter (if that's what is being asked in the OP?)

I'm enraged by high taxes, big government, the "nanny state," the high rate of youth crime, and communism / socialism.

The way people don't indicate when they need to and then on the next part of the road indicate and don't do what they indicate to do.

But that doesn't enrage me, normally justs gets a firm stupid ****'s shouted and then back to normal.

I'm enraged by people that walk slowly and/or aimlessly. This also applies to people that stop suddenly in front of you, or randomly change directions. Or stop to shove their tongue down their partners throat.

I can let most things slide, including my hatred of the current government, but the above really grate me. If I'm stressed I just can't go out in Manchester, it's not health.

As for encouragement, I find the best form is fear of disappointment. Fear of failure I find demotivates me (if you're gonna fail, why try)... but thinking about those you're going to let down really motivates me.

Yes, it happened so much recently I mouthed off at a bunch of people blocking the pavement in the worst possible way with prams.

What I also hate are people that constantly have something to say about you/what you do, day in and day out, when it turns out to be them instead of you. Hypocrites is what I am trying to say.

Animal cruelty for sure. London news are doing special reports on dog fighting and 'status' dogs this week, it really does make my blood boil

Health & Safety
Equality & Diversity
Political Correctness
Blatant and obvious lying by the Government
Nanny State
The Governments march ever closer to a 'Big Brother' style State.
Preachy Vegetarians and animal rights activists.
Religion

All those enrage and infuriate me.

I'll add another one: Royal Mail.

I just stood there (apartment block) why my postman carded me. "Sorry you weren't in."

1) I was stood behind him so I was very much 'in'.
2) He didn't try and call me
3) He didn't have my package with him.

I didn't challenge him as he blatantly didn't have the package (filled out the wrong time too, unless he's a time-traveller), and I have enough problems with mail going missing to kick up a fuss with him. I will at the PO depot though, miles away! RAGE.

I'm sorry your postman was there, you weren't in the house, he carded you?

Why didn't you just say "hey mate, I live there do you have my parcel?"

If he said no then kick up a fuss.

israel and palestine
the war on terror
bad drivers
my boss (though he won't be for much longer)
big brother
whingers
liers, cheats and general dishonesty

funnily enough I'm pretty laid back myself and rarely get worked up - though these really grind my gears.

Perparing my tax return enrages me, which is what I'm avoiding doing now by typing this post. Paying the tax is even worse given all of the scroungers and dullards it keeps in tabs, spesh and trackies.
