Poll: OcUK Colour Scheme

Would you prefer to keep the existing blue or change the modified black theme?

I like the original blue.

Black reminds me of when I was younger and made a really gash desktop colour profiles, or one of those people that makes everything black. You know the ones..

I like my black, don't get me wrong, but in a minimalist form.

As you know, the forum software can do multiple ones but if you want it as the default for new users, I would say black to go with the main page.

But it needs more white, black should be for text and subsection/banner/topic headings.

Yeah black looks like it's going to win, when will it actually be changed though? Maybe the poll will run for a week or so?
 
Perhaps been mentioned, but some websites give a theme picker for the forums - so that could be a possible option.

I prefer the blue I think though - looks very unique.
 
I want the blue to stay, its part of OCUK forum identity and should remain.

But as many have said, giving it as an option would be great, many other vbulletin based forums support this?

They do, it's very easy to do as well. Just install a second theme, tick the box that says ''allow user selection''.

There are other ways, but that's probably the easiest, hassle free way.

I will always prefer white text on a darkish background. I don't have a problem with blue as it is but I wouldn't mind having a go with black as long as I don't have to do any phaffing around.
 
Leave the Blue as the default - but give the Black (and maybe some more well-done user-submitted designs) as options available from the UserCP.
 
My choice would be keep blue as default, but add options of black/yellow(eyes)/red/whatever as optionals!
 
I think you should just totally be spontaneous and make the forums orange and purple.

I don't want to go back to my black phase. It was bad enough when I was 17! Don't make me do it OCUK!

I say black, "that blue site" is now infamous with my other half! ha!

Also.. once you go black... :o
