Sounds like something Karl Pilkington would say.
A month ago I had it for 6 hours and I was getting really worried I was going to turn into one of those people. Turns out it was completely random. Oh and it really hurt.
I think it might have been the medication I just started taking, but it doesn't happen any more.(

Did the medicine contain codeine/morphine? I have to take tramadol every now and again for back pain as it's the only medicine which helps and i always get hiccups after a few hours. I've tried every method in the book to get rid of them; they work for a minute or two then they come back, lasting a good few hours. Had the same problem when i was given morphine in hospital a few years ago. I don't think i'd make a good smackhead![]()

I saw this guy on BBC breakfast today. The first hiccup he looked like he was faking.. like it was forced.. but then I considered.. what if it isnt natural.. what if he is doing it to himself.. mentally.. its quite hard to beat your own subconscious.
Maybe he was the hiccup all along
Coming to you soon by M. Night Shyamalan

Has he tried drinking a glass of water upside down?
Guinness World Records said:American man Charles Osborne had the hiccups for 68 years, from 1922 to 1990

2 years? pffff
EDIT: Beaten, but it still stands so nerrr

Good Idea! Maybe you should email him it!
And then watch the clip again.
Smoooth.Imagine the relief when he finally stopped on June 5th. It'd be the best day of my life after hiccuping for 68 years![]()
