As some of you may of read in my other thread, my xbox died...bless...

Well I was going to change it at the competitor, after I finished work at the competitor ;).

To my suprise someone had ordered a wii from our website, didnt want it, and bought it back to our store for a refund. So I bought it! :D

Its pretty cool - I have house of the dead 2 and 3 and Super smash brothers.

Also - at competitor, they said because its a RROD error - they wouldnt swap it, and I had to contact mircosoft to get it repaired even though its within its 12 month warranty. Now I dont want to kick up a fuss as Im pretty sure this isnt right - and its the retailers responsibility to swap it over or sort it, but I work at the sister company and know the people there as I get stock quite often, but this has done my headin....

By the way, because of the 1st half of the thread about me getting a wii, I will allow 1 and 1 only jesus pic to celebrate.

Your absolutely right, it is the retailers responsibility to exchange goods if they are faulty - google the sale of goods act for more info.

This is only true within the first six months unless you can prove that the item is inherently faulty. Luckily Microsoft have all but admitted that the 360 is inherently faulty and, as such, it is the responsibility of the retailer to get it fixed.

Just out of interest, which purple shirt land do you work at in Leicester - the main one or the mini one in the department store?

Errrr, the one on Fosse Park :)

You'll get suspended for posting a jesus image.

Mind removing the competitor hints Benga and Joe?

Done :)

Ah right I'm with you - You are not talking about the stores I'm thinking of. i always thought that when people refered to purple shirts they were talking about a high street gaming retailer rather than your place.

The problem is that most retailers have no idea the SOGA even exists...!!!
