I wonder how many they had in stock, there will be a real boom in gtx280 installations this week!

I nearly went for one (or two actually), but I get the feeling that the GTX295 will be better suited for my 26"sammy, (1920x1200), as its a single slot card, so i will be able to put my secondry sound card in my PC (Xfi Fatality AND E-MU 0404 music production card. But had/having very nice game play on my SLI rig (GTX8800), And runs just about everything fine. (farcy2 chugs a bit with lots of AA/AF on)

I Think its good that the prices have dropped, but then again, people are being "rushed" (it seems) into buying one, in fear they will be all out of stock, and sometimes - when you don't have enough time to read reviews on the GTX280, and side-them-up etc with other cards/sli configurations, and have it sprung on you like this, it can be a bit irrational - rushed decision to buy.....

The rest of the 280 stock will clear out in a short amount of time, and eventually reach 8800GTX-ish levels when it was EOL'ed, extremely cheap.

Record sales, these went down countdown style over the last couple of hours.

Gainward is still a cracking deal and I am working on what I can do with the other lines still in stock.

People have been going mad over the Gainward, just have a lot of them in stock.

Will be now more than likely, as cheapest will always go first.

You want to try and get those EVGA SSC jobbies down in price, or you'll end up stuck with those *******.

Like wise. I found out I got my new job today, so feeling much more flush than yesterday, was tempted by that bfg. If you can get the evga card down I'll be sure to get it along with a few other goodies

The POV card looks the most likely, but then we are talking about Gainward pricing.

I have trimmed the EVGA slightly, but the standard GTX 280 is at its rock bottom lowest. I just can't get any more off the card due to the poor euro rate.

Gainward and Leadtek have the same 2 year warranty period, if the Gainward one comes down to the same £229.99 deal, then maybe I'll bite

Would have purchased the Leadtek, but work and all till 6pm.

yeah, lol, for the last few days the £-$ rate has been jumping between 1.45 and 1.47, not much hope...

Personally I would think so.

The Gainward has really picked up now, they are now selling 4x as fast now the others are gone.

EVGA cards have now been reduced as far as they will go.

To be honest OCUK are well below anyone elses prices so I for one am very grateful for the opp to get a cheap BFG, once the gainwards are gone its a big price jump....

Next MB has to be SLI so I can put 2 of these babys together....

Can you pair an OCX and an OC together, is it just the model that needs to be the same in SLI?
