Just got the 1000D today, after finally choosing it over the 450D... don't ask why lol. I got the 55-250mm IS lens too after seeing the sharp shots it produces for the price.

Anyway I can't get a chance to do anything with it, cause im overloaded with assignments which need to be finished for 2moro, will be up all night i suspect, occasionally having a quick glance on the forums every so often ;)

Can't wait to get out and get these SD cards filled :)
 
I took mine to work today thinking I might find something to point it at. well I took some icicles hanging of the bottom of an Impreza but that was about it.. even they look crap. LOL

Won't be long before the weekend mate, might even have a bit more snow to play with by then. ;)

I know how you feel mate. Had my 5DmkII since just before Christmas and haven't had a single chance to use it for anything 'proper' yet. All bleedin landscapes and snapshots!
 
Took a few pics of the moon last night with the 55-250, so I thought I would put it up here. Will prob try sharpening it and have a mess around with the colour levels at some stage 2moro :)
