ive just gone back to the green side as im fed up with problems im having with the 4800 series, just ordered a GTX 280 Gainwood:)
 
Agreed, I had a strange problem with my ATi 4850 in that I couldn't run vista, as soon as you install the drivers I got no signal on my monitor. Apparently it's a common fault with vista and certain monitors but ATi don't know of a fix for it.

I had that problem i found just using a dvi to vga adaptor plugged in with out a vga lead plugged in solved my problem via DVI , highly tempted for a 280 though

marcus can i ask why you would like a GTX 280 as you have a 4870 x2 aswell have you had problems aswell?
 
Can anyone confirm if the Gainward comes with the 6pin / 8pin PCI-e connectors asap please? Or will i need to buy those seperately. My PSU only has one 6pin at the moment!
 
3 left now folk. Also I've just noticed that the Zotac AMP editions seems to have a ridiculous core OC, I wonder how they managed that stunt on what seems to be stock cooling...
