Anyone have any opinion on where the best place to get wet prints from digital photos is? I've heard bad things recently about photobox for prints smaller than 10x8.

Peak Imaging is apparently really good, but it's 70p+ a print, 41 pence if you do a hundred or so..

Looking for something decent, but moderately priced - any suggestions?

I have a feeling I'm going to have to submit a number of images to various companies before sending in my proper order.

photobox are probably the biggest so in turn like all places you hear more bad than at other places,, personally ive had a few issues but they have allways resolved them and actually its the larger prints i had small probs on, 6x4 or 7x5 all ok,

ive tried many other places but allways end up back on there door, i prob spend £300/£400 per month there at the mo going up to £500 plus in summer months

Could you explain photobox quality compared to the other companies you have used and why you keep coming back to them?

I have heard recently photobox are processing (oversharpening) and colour/exposure 'correcting' the 6x4s etc, and the prints are coming back too dark.. Are you correcting fro this or just not noticing, or is there no problem?

I've had a few smaller prints come back from them quite a lot darker than I would have liked, but I just put that down to my screens not being calibrated. I generally increase the exposure by a stop in Lightroom before exporting to get printed
