I dont think ive ever asked so many Broadband related questions in such a short period.

I having Broadband put in downstairs. PC is in back bedroom, and i dont want to have a wire going through the house.

Generally the wireless strength is a bit rubbish when going up stairs from down stairs.

My question is,

Should i buy a NINO? Asdl modem or buy a wireless entender, which will let me use my full 24mb download speed via wireless?

bearing in mind ill start off with teh Thompson Modem provided by Be unlimited.

I think you mean MIMO (multiple in multiple out).
Personally I would wait and see how well the bebox does. Would be foolish to buy extra kit you may not need.

Yes but MIMO has nothing to do with the standard you're using. You can have MIMO technology on both G and N. N isn't better as such, it's newer and faster but not always better. E.G for internet access G is better because it does the job perfectly well and costs considerably less than N.

It varies from router to router. Usually there's an option in the initial setup to enable it.

Do note though that you don't get the benefit of MIMO if you're using a non SISO adapter at the PC end.

SISO???

i ahve a MIMO wireless adaptor on the PC.

but i doubt my router is mimo

if i buy a mimo router, will this be sufficient?

Single In Single Out, i.e. a normal adapter.

You'd need a MIMO adapter at both ends to get full benefit.
