suddnly cant connect to internet...

yesterday all was fine, both pcs connected to the internet no problems what so ever. got up today and it wouldnt connect at all.

ive restarted both the router and the modem, but nothing!
no idea what could have happened, nothing has been changed...

ISP is virgin media, router is netgear


if i try to sign in to msn i get the following 2 errors on the test result..


DNS
Keyports

any ideas ??
 
I'm assuming you're using cable? (Not clued up with Virgins latest products)

If so, have you tried connecting the cable modem directly to your PC to rule out a router issue? Secondary to this, what are the lights doing on your modem/router - this should tell you where the problem could lie.

Only other option would be to give your ISP a call to rule out a network fault.
 
I seem to be getting this problem now also. 4 pcs connected to network 3 are OK. This one will not connect to internet same as above and I am getting the same error message when I try MSN. But 64bit ie seems to be working fine (thats how I am sending this). Firefox will also not connect. Any ideas????
