Looking at reviews it seems like a 280-SLI edges the 295 for slightly less money. However, if you don't want to mess around with two cards (or your mobo can't do SLI) then grab the 295 :)

It happens every launch, if they were £200 people would complain they were not £150.

280 SLi only edges it on current OcUK pricing, some of our competition are over £100 more for cards.
 
nVidia never fail on their superb pricing do they lol.

4870x2 is still by far the better choice at £100 cheaper. grrr.
