Meh, I will probably end up getting a 295 towards the end of its life anyway.

If you want to know the best thing, I am currently gaming on a 17" CRT at 1024 x 768. Most intensive game I play is L4D. :D

400fps to 490fps I think.

Currently seeing if anything can be done on the Point of View pricing for anyone who missed the Leadtek, Gainward, Asus, Zotac and BFG offers. Struggling to get the price to where you all want it to be. :(

i thought you would have had the best of the best yewen :p 17" tsk tsk

yee Left 4 dead is great with some mates :)

EVGA GeForce GTX 280 1024MB GDDR3 @ £281.74 inc VAT :) Nice. Cheapest one I can see atm anyway, hopefully better deal coming?

Will have a deal coming up towards the end of the day.

I will post in the forums regarding it do not worry, want as many of the cards to go to our forum base as possible! :D

Looking out for this deal to see how it compares to the GTX295 price before deciding which one to go for.

I am still working on the specifics but a little swamped today. Multiple launches and many deals going live make me a busy man. :p

The deal will propably make it to the website too late for next day shipping. :(

Thats ok mate I can wait as I still have 2 EVGA GTX260-216s I bought from you last month to play with. EVGA are such a great brand I would never buy another make again which is why I am interested in the 280 price more than usual! Thanks.

Get the 260 Core 216, it's nearly as good but £35 less.

+1 The 280 is not really an upgrade from an overclocked 260 imho having owned both.

G

p.s. did anyone else's 280 look like it had been opened a couple of times previously?

If it is a BFG card they get opened by BFG Europe for quality check and then sealed again.

yeeeeeeeeees! got my hands on one of the POV cards so i can finally say goodbye to my g80 8800. really pleased with this as it should be a beast once overclocked and all for a fiver less than i was going to spend on an xfx 260 black!

hope i'm not celebrating too soon though as i encountered this at my payment screen

First impressions: The packaging from gainwood is excellent and the build of the card looks excellent better than my old 4870 X2

If you do get the payment through mate you will be in for one heck of an upgrade :D

i havent had a nvida card for 12 months im well impressed of the quality build

I like the fact the PCB is fully covered and the rubber covers of the SLI connectors.

You feel like you have spent your money well with one of these cards, feels "expensive".
