No the price is not going any lower, just look at the competitions pricing.

Its the same card with a different sticker on it, even the box is the same as the Gainward card just with different art work.

i havent found anywhere near ocuk prices for the GTX 280 fair play to ocuk keeps customers happy
 
ihatelag, coming from the 3870x2 you would see a nice improvement.

Im thinking would i see one coming from a 4870x2 lol i know i wouldnt really, but it would be something new to play with lol
 
Guys I have now sold 20+ of these since I launched the offer.

Anyone on the forums who is holding off I would suggest buying as soon as possible, want as many of these in the hands of forumers as possible.

This really is the last card I can do something "special" on in the 280 range. :(

In games with a good SLI profile, then it would be around equal, but games where SLI is poor, it would be far ahead. Plus less heat in your case and all the pros of having a single card solution :)
 
very tempting £229, not sure whether its worth dumping a 4870 512mb for it though considering how close they are. Sometimes the allure of owning the fastest card outweighs the monetary costs.... :)
