Is there anywhere i can go to get a motherboard fixed? i dont know what the problem with it is other than it simply wont boot.

Just would like to know if there are people that do fix them

RMA is out of the question

from what i remember the board gets power and all the lights light upon the motherboard, all fans spin and the like but no post and no display on the screen.

Also a bend in one of the corners of the board. you know the lines on the underside of the board (the ones the electricity goes through) i dont know what to call them but in this bent corner these these have been broken apart i think this may be the problem

new mobo, it sounds like the PCB is naff if that is the case or I would have said BIOS maybe

It'd probably be cheaper to buy one rather than get it repaired.

this damaged mobo was second hand yes? if so you had been riped off in my eyes unless you done the damage yourself somehow

recieved the motherboard with the bent corner and was like thats a bit suspect but tried it anyway and alas nothing.

I guess i just loose this time. would one of those pcb repair kits be worth a try? Though it probly proper dead now god only knows where its been and who had it within these 2 and a half months

no the printed cirected board is naff even a PCB repire kit might not do the trick even, never seen them myself. The best place for it is a rec center so it can be ethoir made into a nice new PC component or for some other purpose..sorry

yes, it can be with specail tools, you can buy them. Might kill the mobo even more through

na its a universal kit, but only works with a certin type of BIOS chip, I still wouldn't do it through just in case, than you have to flash it some how maybe while its in the device thing, I have no idea what it comes with, or how it can be a uni one. But i seen the things someware, even if I find I can't post the link, OCUK don't deal with that thing I know of

These motherboards are not a single layer, there are tracks 6-8 layers deep in places. I don't think there is any way you're going to get it repaired. Just have to accept it's broke and get another.
