1UP Gone ~ sold, 40 redundant, no more podcasts

such a shame the podcasts were great, especially old gfw, didn't like the site really

should regroup and sell some podcast maybe, dollar each or whatever, bet lot of people wouldnt mind paying a little bit
 
I was following this story yesterday and was very dissapointed. 1upYours was the only podcast I listen to. :(

Did you read my post? 1upyours will continue at a later date with Garnett, David Ellis, Tinah and possibly John Davidson, wont be as good without shane though :(
 
Enjoyed the podcasts when they would work.

98% of the time they would either take 4hrs to download or 2% of the time they'd completely timeout whereas a similarly sized file would take 20 minutes :rolleyes: I stopped after a few episodes because of that..

That bumbling Japanese guy who spoke with terrible clarity made me laugh :D

I really quite enjoyed episode 2 of the rebelfm though I do worry where the money is going to come from for these guys.

Also Player1 has had a few of the 1UP/EGM guys on since the redunduncies and is well worth a listen (I've been listening years anyway).
 
I'll need to check out Ryan Scott's one. Is the English guy on that one too?

It's typical 2 gaming podcasts i really liked, both got canned. And both where canned by the same company i think lol RadiOPM and 1up yours.
 
1up Yours isn't canned. There's a "classic" being recorded tonight with all the old crew (Garnett, Shane, John, Fitch and Luke) and will be uploaded tomorrow according to Garnett Lee's Blog.

The show will continue too but he's toying with the idea of changing the name from 1up Yours.
