London art college - Scam?

I'm interested in signing up for a cartooning course, and found one at London art college. Thing is, I've never heard of this place. But then I'm not from London, so I don't know. Is anyone familiar with this place/been/heard of it etc? I'd really like to know before I dump 200 quid. Thanks.

After looking at the website and looking at who accredits them, Im gonna say its dodgy.

EDIT also that postcode is for Cumbria :s

Although I checked with the ODL QC and they do certify them, even then though, the ODL QC looks a bit rubbish and scam like!

You can buy courses online and they have a photograph of a shopping trolley on the "buy now" page....run for the hills!

Well it claims to be accredited by the ODLQC. Check that.

Also just because it has London in its name doesnt really mean it has to be based in London.

If it was a proper college, would it not have a .ac.uk address instead of a .co.uk?

Its not like a government funded college. This looks like a privately funded "college" which one or more people started. It isn't meant to give you any real qualification but simply for your own enjoyment and possible future application.
