Now then chaps and chapess'. As I know there is quite a few 1/4 mile fans on here, I thought I would take the opportunity to see if any of the ST lot fancied joining us VW GTI boys @ Pod for a RWYB day on Sunday 1st Feb?
We have 34 of us lot going on last count, most of which are running and with it being a standard RWYB day (fairly quiet) there should be plenty of chance to get as many runs as you like in.. Most of our lot have never been to Pod, let alone run, so there will be no rivalry (as such , but a good friendly day out to admire and watch each others motors.
We have a mixture of GTI's going varying from standard GTI's to sub 400bhp ED30's, so a good mixture and I am also inviting the VXR, Megane Sport and R32 boys too, so should be a nice mixture of Hot Hatches..
So if any of you guys fancy it, stick your name down and lets see if we can make it a cracking day out...

Good lads, getting a good responce from this, so hopefully will be a cracking turnout and be good to see some other nice cars..
It is about £10 admission and £20 for unlimited runs mate..

So far, from each forum, we have (Few guys to be confirmed closer to date obviously)...

MG ZS's = 2
Golf GTI = 36
Seat Cupra = 14
CTR = 6
Meganesport = 5
Focus ST = 8
R32 = 7
VXR = 12
Others = 11 (Including S3's, Focus RS', etc etc)

not sure what time it starts and as we havnt aranged a meeting time yet

Would be awesome if any of you guys can make it :)

It's £20 to enter which I think is for the day (I've never been before) let me know if you want to come are going to spectate. :)

Im interested, but, depending on what happens in the next week or two i dont know if ill be able to come.

Gibbo doesn't like quarter mile drags due to the strain it puts on the engine and parts but it certainly would be impressive to see :D

There are a couple of cars I can think of on here that would obliterate the other forums :p

Hmmm tempting but the pod is a fair way from Newcastle,would cost me £80 in fuel atleast.not yet had the m3 down the strip yet and it's overdue so will wait while someone organizes a closer one,crail maybe.
