I've lost the keys to my Lian-Li V2000 case plz help!

as title.

I can't find the key anywhere, so suggestions please?

Firstly, are all the keys the same for those cases, they're the hollow keys you find on filing cabinets, not the pin tumbler kind, so I think they're same same.

Given that, would it be possible to buy replacement keys from Lian-Li, or do OcUK carry them? I bought the case from here

please help!!

i will scout around at work for a spare tomorrow

[you could always have the side off and jump the computer with a screwdriver

Yeh, I knew I could turn it on, but I just put the hardware inside, so I need to install an OS, the optical drives were left in there from a previous build but I can't open the door to get to them, and I can't take them out since they go in the front. If I was really desperate I could take another drive and just have the side off and sit it ontop of the case, but it's gonna be a 2nd pc to do all the stuff that currently slows down my gaming rig lol.

Yup, the latch to remove the panel is behind the panel. Wouldn't be very secure otherwise :rolleyes:

hmm just remembered now before christmas i packed up my sx1000 and put the keys in a 'safe' place

can't remember where that safe place was now!

will have to hunt when i get in!

sorry, apologies, it's a V2100, not a 2000. It's the predecessor to the 2110, had it a while

No doubt it's the same key tho, so if you can find a place that stocks spares, I'm all ears

Still no reply from Lian Li re: replacement keys. I've searched everywhere, even ebay don't have any. Think I'm going to have to dremel the lock
