Definitely Mirror's Edge or Left 4 Dead for me. Nothing else is close.
Rock Band and LittleBigPlanet are worth a mention, but neither gripped me, the former being better with people and the latter felt like a dis-jointed mishmash in SP. Quantum of Solace was also a lot of fun.

Just finished mirrors edge. Damn fine game even if it did take me a while to get into its groove.

left 4 dead second best game due to the lack of options for it atm. mapwise etc
