My dad’s lease expires in February so he has decided not to take another company car and buy his own.

He normally like big cars (he was looking at a BMW 5 or Jag XJ) however I managed to twist his arm into buying a 3 Series. I promised I would buy it from him if he really does not like driving such a “small” car.

Spec is as follows:
December 2006
Montego Blue wit Cream Beige-Dakota Leather
14 000 miles
Electric, heated sports seats with memory.
Sat nav with Bluetooth and voice control and Ipod interface and HiFi upgrade
Park distance front and back
Automatic paddle shift
19”alloys
So he paid an unbelievable 17 500, the seller is a really nice guy and he is the first owner (he paid 41k 2 years ago) not bad considering I sold me one for 38k only 6 months ago.

I'm in love - this is the perfect example of the 3 coupe I'm looking to buy in a few months time (those alloys, that leather, that colour0 - all except the engine, 335 pushes insurance North a bit too much, given my age :)

I bet you're very jealous!

Awesome car, a neighbour had one at release and i just drawled. His was the drop top but still sounded a sweet car.

Plus that is a serious bargain, a quick look at the current prices show how much they have dropped since release

And the downside they give is rear legroom being poor. I know for sure if I had this car i'd be getting it for my pleasure, who cares about legroom? ;)

Oh I'm sure.

He's right. Much of the BMW range has refinement levels such that the car robs you of the sensation of speed. This can be frustrating when you are pushing on and it can also catch you out when you are overtaking only to find you've inadvertently shattered the speed limit.

I get a few lifts to London and York from somebody at work with the latest shape 330D, It's deceivingly fast. You can almost fall asleep in the thing while he is working his way around a motorway fast lane at silly speeds.
