Which 32" LCD for bedroom?

I had my heart set on that Sony that was available quite cheaply in the sales but it seems to be sold out everywhere.

Main uses of the TV will be console gaming, blue ray watching and watching football via my Sky HD box.

Anyone got any recommendations in the £350 bracket?

panasonic TX32LXD80 will fit your needs nicely.

I upped my budget, was looking at the v4000 and now have the Panny...haven't connected it up yet as i need an ariel/Xbox.

I've found the Sony in stock but it's gone up £20 to £369.99, what's the Panasonic got over the Sony?

For me the sony is better than the panasonic people are recommending. Found the motion handling and blacks to be better on the sony.

My mrs got the V4000 on boxing day for £300 and it is a nice set, her grandad has the panasonic, not bad but just not up with the sony for my eyes.

both sets are very close, in reviews (user and mag) the panny just edges it. The sony is a cracking set though. if you can get it for £300 (like it was priced), i'd go for it)

I held off when it was £299.99 due to a few uni projects and now the only place it's in stock is at £369.99

I dunno if I should just wait for it to come down again (if it ever will).

Best price I have seen for the TX32LXD85 is £375 collected, £404 delivered 6-10 days.

Said it before and will proudly say again, 338£ with 5 years warranty. :cool:

(32LXD80, not the 85).
