Dad got himself a bargain BMW

He's right. Much of the BMW range has refinement levels such that the car robs you of the sensation of speed. This can be frustrating when you are pushing on and it can also catch you out when you are overtaking only to find you've inadvertently shattered the speed limit.
I understand this, but I have not found this to be the case in the 335i.

I agree with you that you will have shattered the speedlimit in a couple of blinks (or none at all, I hope), but if you actually do (to quote who I replied to) "thrash the bits off of it" and "go at silly speeds", it comes alive, and boy do you notice it.

Or maybe that is just me.

really fox how could you tell it was the 335 and not a 330 or something like that?

Because "you" recommended it to your dad, it's pretty obvious given your activities on here in the past and cars.

That looks a nice car, Not sure about the interior colour though but exterior is Gorgeous & I don't often say that about BM's.

The original purchase price.

Put whatcar down, I did many years ago and lost my detailed knowledge of every car out there :p :D

Not a fan of this shape, but that looks lovely, stunning in fact. Definately growing on me, now where were those M3 pictures :D

It is a completely standard E92 SE so I don't really understand why, wheels perhaps?

I know it is. It might be the wheels but the front end seems to look nicer than normal...
