Windows 7 Beta Key:

From having a read around, it would seem the keys won't be available till 3pm Eastern Time which is 8PM our time. I'm not entirely sure but I think either this page here or this one here where you go to receive your key. Be patient though since it may take a while for you to complete the process due to high traffic levels. Remember though, there are only 2.5 million keys available, according to Microsoft.

Just keep trying it took me about 20 attempts before i got a proper link in the download manager

cant get anywhere with the key page. "Server is too busy"

if you dont get a key you can always use the rearm trick on it open the command prompt and type slmgr /rearm then enter and you get another 30 days you can do this 3 times so you get 4 months to test it anyway

The download manager didn't work. It asked where to save the file to and added itself to the list but cancelled

my download manager wont even open (yes in IE) just keeps refreshing the page every 10secs

Looks like there is almost no chance of me getting a key. "Server Busy" is all I get. All 2.5m keys must be spoken for by now.

Managed to get Messenger working at last! Had to disable the network auto-tuning feature...

Is there a way to get it to sit in the system tray? Taking up a huge space on the taskbar seems like a step back for me. I miss the small system tray icon

The beta has been released but the site is getting hammered, so it is hard to get the software and key.

ok, so from what i gather, i go here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/evalcenter/dd353205.aspx# then download 64bit version, and hope i get a key, or do i need a downlaod mannager to get it from there?
