Nope, a P45. Sig size rules don't allow me to list everything.
Ah cool, was wondering...

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

It will still be restricted. A pair of X2's really need a X38/48 board to run unrestricted. It's about the only card combination that a P45 board strangles.
So i don't know where the idea that 2 8x lanes strangle the 4870x2 comes from, but it wasn't bourne out by my testing.
So have you compared your P45 to an X48? I think the point isn't that you don't get decent performance from a P45, you just get even more from an X38 or X48 board.

Yes i have. But an X38/X48 dos'nt do the sort of FSB i get with the P45, that in conjunction to the clock i run means that a better benching and gaming outcome (for me), comes from the P45. I fully understand what you are getting at, but in my situation the P45 beats the X38/X48. As already mentioned, the only reason to go CF would be to game on my 50" Plazma (which i can do now anyway)with a bit more zip and even more eye candy.
Getting my X2 for 340 seems like a total bargain now![]()
Did you try it with the X48 running the PCIe bus at 115MHz?![]()
how can you get them that price?![]()
Will this also bring down the price of the 4850x2?
You can't, I got it from a very good MM member![]()
