FREE FARCRY 2 with 280?

This should now be amended as this bundle is no longer available. The wording shoud also note a limited supply with it does not.

So how can I get my free games?

Still they shouldnt be `still` advertising the card with farcry 2 if they arent actually giving it away anymore.

As it does not say anything about the offer being limited to supplies then I think I have a right to get a copy, even if it is rubbish. Othewise surely it is false advertising and fraudulant?

Considering BFG handle the deal through there website OcUK owe you nothing.

The game is clearly shown on the Ocuk site and is very misleading. Despite BFG handling the deal Ocuk should still put in that the offer is limited on stocks.

Quote from the actual sales section "supplied with FarCry 2 PC Game." which it isnt.

How is that not fradulant? Well fraud may be a strong word for it but it is definately false advertising

Dont you just register the card with BFG and they send it to you? Hence, free Farcry 2 supplied?

No they have stopped the promotion because they have run out of stock. Hence Farcry 2 NOT supplied

They do however say that they're working on getting something else (I'm going out on a limb and saying mirrors edge due to the physX support) and that you should keep checking back with that link.

I asked them and they basically said, tough! Hopefully that is not true and I will continue to try and register.

At the very least even if Ocuk wont honour their advertising they should take down the image and wording that states that if you buy this card you will get farcry 2 for free.

The thread you posted has a date and time of "11th Jan 2009, 12:09 AM", we do not have 24/7 support as some of us have other things to do outside of work. We do post in there at silly hours but it is always at our discretion. If you think that you will get an instant reply at midnight on a Saturday then I do not know. You have also not read the annoucement as you have neglected your order number in your Support thread. How can we help you if we do not know your exact details.

Not hard was it, the support forum is there so you can get assistance WITHOUT breaking the forum rules. I would suggest having a little more patience in the future.

I will arrange for a copy of the game to be sent out to you on Monday. Please do not post customer service issues outside of the support forum in the future as it is through luck that I spotted this thread.

If you did not get your game then raise a thread in the customer service forum and we can send a copy out.

The game is not brilliant but its worth a quick play at least!

No problem mate, if you change your mind while our stocks last I can still get one popped in the post.

The copy I got with my 280 has had about 20 mins playtime before I thought meh and went back to L4D.

Yeah I'm pretty much hooked on L4D, Fallout 3 and Tf2 (still). Far Cry would just sit on my shelf gathering dust.
