Playstation Home Release

You have to go stand in front of the aeroplanes, you will get an option to press X, however that option only appears if there are no people around you to interact with.

T.

Or Just press X (doesn't matter if another user is highlighted) and then keep pressing left or right on d-pad until you have the air race highlighted, and not a user.

i dont see any planes though  just the normal square it was at the start, it says theres an update when i load but it hasnt downloaded anything.

Might have to deleated and start again.

How do I find the planes?

I see to keep downloading various sections - pool seemed fun for a bit, whilst stacking all the furniture on top of each other in my flat was pointless fun too :(

Press Start and then go to Locations, its the box on the left, download and off you go. Its a little bugged getting on the planes though, you have to walk around the area infront of the 3 planes until Red Bull Air Race appears on the bottom of the screen. Youll have to do it whilst no one is around you as there name will automatically appear. Apparently you can navigate to it with the dpad but that never works for me as you have to be standing on it in the first place. My original post hyped it a bit, its nothing amazing, but seriously addictive trying to get 49 seconds or under. If anyone can/has done it they get a Well Done Special Award badge from me.

EAs section looks good - if this takes off im sure there is a lot of content to come, however is there enough longevity/money to be made out of HOME? Will HOME just automatically role onto the next Sony system?

home wont load for me now, it gets to the first bit telling me about how its saves to the hdd rubbish and thats it, i cant press x , ive deleated it twice and re installed it and its the same .

Farcry 2 game space is out. I don't know whether people who have not got the game will be able to download it though:confused:

50 seconds. Me and my mate spent ages trying to get 49 didnt happen though. I hear there is a score board and stuff now so may try and attempt to break into the 40s again. Best to take the last cone thing quite wide and swing it round got 50 seconds this way.

Anyone been playing the XI game that went live yesterday? Looks like it'll be a little bit of fun and attract some users back in to home.

New guitar hero sapce out this week, got a cool "simon says" mini game by the looks of it.
The time has come for all of you virtual rock stars to get your butts into PlayStation Home and show off your sickest riffs and slickest licks. That’s right - on Thursday, March 26th, Activision is launching their first PlayStation Home space to support their hit franchise - Guitar Hero. And you’re invited to the launch party!

The event will take place in the “Backstage with Guitar Hero” space where players will be able to rock out on their PLAYSTATION 3 controllers to a lightning-fast finger rock-style interactive mini-game. In this mind-boggling party game of music, memory, and reflexes, players are challenged to follow the lead of a guitarist by matching an ever-increasing color and sound pattern. With each turn a new note is added to the tune, and when a player misses a note they are knocked out of the game until only one player is left standing. A local leaderboard captures the highest scores in real time so the true champion gets their due props and the losers are left to practice their chops in shame.

On Friday, March 27th, between the hours of 12:00pm and 5:00pm PT (3:00pm and 8:00pm EST) the PlayStation Home Community Management team will be visiting the new Guitar Hero game space each hour on the hour and awarding the user with the current high score a special prize. So come out and show us your godly guitar skills. Who knows – you might just emerge the new virtual rock star of PlayStation Home…
