Insurance that allows 25's to drive other cars?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a new insurance policy that will allow me to drive other cars.

I'm 24, have 7 years NCB and currently have this on my existing policy, but Quinn-Direct have put my insurance up this year so I’m looking to move.

Does anyone know of any insurers that will provide this cover for me?

Bell Direct on the Flexibell Policy will allow you to add this.

Most fully comp policies should cover you at your age.

Finding someone who will let you drive over their car may be a bit harder though.

I had DOC since i was 18 so its possible still to get it.

I’ve just checked direct line and they say on over 25’s and Dell are coming out quite expensive. Does anyone have anymore recommendations?

What car do you drive?

Bell are cheap for younger drivers mainly, I've got DOC with them and i'm 20 but through Flexibell.

They work out cheaper than most for imports but thats it really.

i went with Bell for this very reason, wish i hadn't now is all it means i drive some mates rotboxes home after they have been on a binge.

Apologies, thought Direct Line was 21 and over.

Try Ecar then, took out a policy today with them.

98' MX5 with mods, 1NCB, 20yrs old - tomorrow, SP30. TPFT on other cars, price = £230 FC with £150 total excess.

just tried a 91 uk mx5 1.6 no mods. 20 yrs old 2 years NCB sp50 TPFT = £2000...

location and a different car. yes less powerful but less expensive thus they think your more likely not to give a rats about crashing it.

My 5 is on bell at the moment by the way.

Under modifications add braided brake lines, see if that makes any difference
