Can any of you beat this? 14,528 texts sent in a month!!!

At my worst I think I went through maybe 20 in a day. That was in the first few months of knowing my gf though.
 
I usually go through about 1000-2000 a month...
Most Ive sent in a day, probably being xmas, wishing everyone a good one etc maybe 150?

i sent anything between 50 and 100 a day last time i was going out with someone(mostly just replying to her), which was kinda stupid really as i wasn't on a free text plan and we tried to meet up at least every other day >.<

but 14k in a month :eek:
 
I send a couple a day...

What the hell do they have to talk about? Seriously...they have no spare time to do anything worth talking about :confused:
 
I used to send around 750 texts per month (1000 limit), then I grew up and started talking to people on the phone. Use around 150 per month now I reckon.
 
Most I've sent is maybe 2 or 3 in one day apart from when I was younger, I hate texting people. Always just phone em.
 
I can never understand how or why people send more than about 300 texts in a month. What's the point? Texting is a tedious and ridiculously overpriced method of communication which is only really useful when you're on the move and want to leave a quick message for somebody. If you're at home or at your place of study or work, you can communicate for free using the internet... if you're not, then just ring them if it's anything that can't be sorted out within one or two messages!

Last year at Uni, the girl who lived next door to me would text her boyfriend a good 20 or 30 times a day. If it took her a couple of minutes to read and reply to each message, that's an hour of her day that she wasted texting. I never understood why she didn't just phone him and have the equivalent conversation in five minutes. Obsessive texters drive me nuts.
 
I barely text. I usually just use it to say "coming down now" or something to a friend, or "meet me at the cinema at 10" or whatever. Typically though - I would prefer to call. By the time I send texts to people, with the small word limit and spend the time to actually type it out, I may as well call them and spend 30 seconds telling them using more words what I wanted to say.
 
To put that in perspective that's one text, every 2 minutes for the 16 hours awake.

I'm excessive if I send 5 a day.
