NEW OcUK BUNDLE RANGE

Starting today we have a new range of OcUK bundles.

Hand picked to meet various needs covering speed, stability, overclocking and value. We will be expanding the bundles section over the next few days so be sure to check the site.

Prices from £117.96 (£135.65) to £1259.97 (£1448.97)

It's quite handy to know which components fit well together both in compatibilty and performance. At least I find it so :)

you sir should clearly do more reading before building a pc then if you need a bundle to tell you what can go with what.

Andy a guaranteed overclock of 3.33GHz on a Q9550 is not rocket science. In fact my mum could achieve that.
Also, the various company's guarantee compatibility by complying with specific standards.

If your going to bundle there needs to be a saving otherwise it just misleading to your customers, as normally buying a bundle means your getting some kind of discount.

Just because a RAM stick will fit in a motherboard, it does not mean it will work properly. There have always been compatibility issued between RAM modules and various chipsets.;)

Not everyone's mum is as seasoned an overclocker as yours :) Some people want tested and guaranteed parts.

All the parts in the bundles are available separately on the website. Its not as though everyone is being forced to buy them. If they are not your thing then simply choose your components separately.;)

I am quite capable of building a PC without using a bundle but I do find it interesting to see what the store picks as fitting well together. I'm sure there are plenty of other people that also find it interesting or useful.

A discount wouldn't hurt though ;)

Also I agree some lower spec bundles would probably be a good idea.

I'll look into it for you.

HTPC kit in bundle form has, traditionally, not been a great seller at OcUK. Fresh ideas are always looked at and taken seriously though so please feel free to post any suggestions for ANY new product in the 'New Product Suggestions' section:

The reason I'd be interested in a bundle is due to my lack of knowledge of anything less than a standard tower, so as such I can't really recommend new products.

Even though I've built countless towers small form factor just seems so alien.

I like the idea of bundles, they give the monetary advantage of building your own PC but also help out beginners in what can often be seen as the rather daunting world of compatibility.

Some errors in them:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...winX (2x2GB) Supplied with Airflow Fan Bundle.

This title bundle says "Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5".
However the link at the bottom sends you to this page, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-136-CS

Havnt looked in the other bundles but i think there is a few other errors, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...MS2 Dominator PC2-8500C5 TwinX (2x2GB) Bundle.
There is the CPU heatsink in the whats included list but not in the title.
