Is there anything similar to peerguardian that works on Vista? Or is there any way to make peerguardian work?

It says it can't load the pgfilter.sys file.

I always used to use PG under XP but stopped using it when I went over to Vista. My mate just sent me a message to say that it's available now, albeit still in test phase, with Vista/x64 support. This is probably old news, but I thought I'd post.

I think it requires a bit of registry editing (bottom of page) which put me off a little bit - has anyone got PG running ok with Vista or Vista x64?

SW.

Running fine here on Vista Ultimate x64. I just have to disable driver signing when I boot up, and also disable PG when I update (it seems to hang if updated whilst enabled)

PG is pretty pointless, why not just encrypt your download and then you cannot be cought for downloading illegal software/material or whatever...thats if you are downloading illegal stuff...other wise im not sure why you would need PG...unless you are using an illegal download program. For example if you are using Bittorrent, torrents are not illegal...if you encrypt your download no one will knwo what you are downloading and cannot accues you of downloading illegal material as they cannot tell and you are using alegit program
