This guy is crazy seriously, is this trickery or clever psychology or what ?, it really is quite perplexing, especially when he's getting all this personal information about people that he's randomly choosing in the audience correct, unless the whole audience is in on it how do you guys think he does it ?

It's unreal! Part trickery, part showmanship, part psychology. What he does is very clever, but nothing "special" about it. (in the nicest possible way, not knocking it and it's still remarkable!)

i'd guess it's a one off show filled with actors all in on it, rehearsed dozens of times.
it's very entertaining :)

oh yeah, spotted the tether on the table earlier.

Watched it all, I think hes great. Dont care if someone came along with all the answers I dont want to know...I prefer his show and the way he presents it, enjoyable and leaves you with lots of questions :)

Just watched it. I was at that very show on the 5th row. Caught myself twice on the screen. Was great to see live. Girl next to me was up on stage.

Quite a few edits. Namely when he was asking for water a member of the audiance actually started walking on stage with some water and was escorted back to the seats. Was quite funny.

lol. My wife has just paused it at 18mins 16 seconds. there we are.

Was it a one-off? An old colleague of mine saw the show and he didn't mention anything about it being recorded for TV.

Yes, it's all an elaborate trick, but it's done with such aplomb that I've just spend the best part of two hours with a huge grin on my face. Terrific entertainment.

He's incredible! I wish I watched it now :(
If you can't 4+1 it then it's repeated on E4 this week. Thursday @ 9:30PM.

Pretty poor show IMO compared to some of the other stuff i've seen him do.

I guess it's because most of it involved the audience, and i don't believe the 'no stooges or actors' part of it.

There wasn't anything new really.

You know a strange thing I noticed (and I'm just looking for clarification as well really) was the box, he basically makes a point that he can't tamper with the box and it's on display throughout the show and even has selected someone or people to keep an eye on it during the intervals, but then doesn't he try and throw everyone off near the end pretending that it was the end of the show and the curtains draw and it goes dark temporarily, if that did happen how I remember it then wouldn't that be where they change the box ?, becuase he pretended the show was at an end for a reason.

It is really really good entertainment, but I've got such a cynical mind I just can't quite trust some of his tricks. I'd imagine it would be even better live because you'd get a better feel of whether there are actually stooges / hidden cameras etc watching while audience members are for example 'writing down secret questions'.
My favourite show of his was 'The Heist' because that really did look genuine and believable.

I'd seen the gorilla thing at work before - we were getting a training course from some airline pilots about observation, and how we usually see what we are looking for, rather than taking in the whole picture. They asked us to watch a basketball match on TV and count how many passes the white team made successfully, compared to how many the black team made. We were all so busy counting the passes that we missed a man in a gorilla suit walking right across the middle of the screen.

Hmm. I remember ocasionaly looking at the box throughout the show, but can't really comment on the end of the oracle act, as I can't remember looking at that exact point to confirm it was hidden

Regarding Actors. Well the girl next to me went on stage and a girl behind me did too. When they came off stage they obviously discussed it with the person they were with as we could hear there group chatting about it. Definetly not actors as that frisbee could have gone to any number of people in the area he aimed it. Was so close to catching it.

Edit.. Regarding the end of the oracle act where the curtains closed. The box was in front of the curtains, however the girl in light shoes section was afterwards anyway so any possible box switch was before she got up on stage, yet she was covered on the long strip of paper.
