I've been on many forums that have done invasions before - there is nothing legally wrong with a group of people signing up to a forum and making posts as that is what they are there for! The DC in question was blustering and would have been in breach of contract to shut down the account, you should have pointed this out to the them.

pfft ocuk has invaded forums before, and even cyber sex chat rooms (that was quality)

ocuk's data costs are in the tens of thousands so their supplier ain't gonna lose that business over something so trivial (and perfectly legal), could a pub be closed down because of what people inside talk about?

Besides people can act independently from the forums...

Nah, they were pretty justified. The victims sent a complaint to my hosts (because the numpty that posted the link hpyerlinked it). Complaints need to be seen to, it's endorcing spam traffic and they were more than right to do something about it. Endorcing bandwidth stealing from another site in the form of unsolicited and malicious visits will breach almost any hosting contract going, and would hold up pretty well.

Right spoke to a few Libel lawyers who I have networked with on LinkedIn and they said not to worry about it, and showed them the full conversation and they said that hasnt got a leg to stand on.

So all seems well.

Seriously, he's just being a ****end and you fell for it. Of course he can't take you to court for libel, its not discrediting him personally and it'd be a big waste of time and money for him.

If prince harry were to read it though
