Guys whats everyone view on the best bios for this board..
I see abit have just shut for good would like to get all the bios's i can and driver updates before the site goes.:)


other specs if it matters q6600
4gig crosair xms 2x2gb
vista 64bit
8800GTX

And as long as you flash carefully (in bios preferably) you should be ok, also incase you didnt know always try and avoid beta releases

Yes i understand this is normaly the rule of thumb but i can remember reading on here a certain bios was favoured for ocing quads, cant find the thread and it was a long time ago so cant remember what bios.

I no there was many people on here who used the board i actually got one as it was recommended from a member on here. So i no certain people will have a fav bios
 
Hi, I'm using 14 as the latest at the time (16 i think it was) gave me false temp readings with my q6600. Something to do with the move to 45nm. Don't know what the latest is now and if it solved the propblem by 14 is stable as you like for me.
 
It's been a while since I had a quad-core in one, but 14 was the daddy when I did. The newer ones seemed to be better with the 45nm chips than they were with the 65nm chips.

was a great board when it worked

my board just stopped oneday error 9.0
tried everything inc changing the bios chip still the same

got a asus p5q put everything on that and worked first time
