No! Leave them alone. Those games are classics. Keep them retro I say - thats part of their appeal. They've already been butchered enough with fan-made remakes and they all lack the magic of the originals.

A new Elite Force game would be fantastic if only to cover up the fact the second was ever made (what a pile of dung that was). Can't believe it was released way back in 2000, I feel old.
X-Wing versus Tie-Fighter with current graphics would be amazing. Still love cruising around in a Tie Interceptor wiping those Rebel scum.

Played the original Elite on the BBC Model B, Class act all the way and the one stand out game of my Childhood, I think that’s why I’m still playing games I’m after that Buzz I got with Elite…..Way back I had no idea Elite was so big…..obviously a lot played it….but then again we had no net just Prestel if anyone remembers.
An online Elite universe that is live, How simple to have servers as space stations………You could transfer between them into new game worlds populated by amazing ships, But what I would wish for is that it was not over done with customizable everything………before you know it a pink ship is firing at you……..
I see there re-doing Carrier Command that I played on my Amiga which should be good, probably wont all the same….
The Amiga had a bunch of games I would like to see remade.
I think Flashback may have been done recently, although i never played it. Alien Breed is a game I would love to see get redone.
Magic Carpet could potentially be good.
Id like them to remake some of games which had real actors in them (albeit crap actors in most cases), like Phantasmagoria or whatever that wierd pc game was called

I have to agree with that I managed to find my old copy of it a little while back and found some patches so you could run it in XP it crashed every now and then for no reason (think it was to do with XP) but was amazing to play.
I forgot just how good the flame towers and dogs were

We need a new Syndicate, X-COM (turn based like the original and TFTD), and ROCKSTAR ATE MY HAMSTER!!!!
I've always said an ellite/x-series would make an uber mmo and surly not hard to achieve. Eve is just pap due to no fps and no skill based training. Just click and wait x hours.
