Can't wait for this game
I got some vouchers for Christmas and used them to pre-order this apparent masterpeice. I've read a lot about this over the last few days and I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that this game will be the best FPS with the best graphics of this generation. Only time will tell.
You need to look around then as there are plenty of other stuff out there, including an IGN preview linked to in this thread!

On a more serious note, i'm avoiding reading reviews and previews as i want to play this game 'fresh'. Resistance 2 was ruined a little for me by playing the beta and reading too much about it before release. All i'm looking at is review scores as they're the only indication i can get without finding out too much. Also i've read previews of games that said they were amazing but turned out to be a disappointment (read: Stalker, Farcry 2 etc...)

Not at all mate, they are not Sony publications, they gave motorstorm 2 a 6/10, uncharted an 8/10 for example. Not 10/10 on every exclusive game they play unlike some other mags do. Another online review ive seen has given 9.9/10 as a comparrison they gave Halo 3 - 9.8, Gears of War 2 - 9.7, Resistance 2 - 9. Just checked and review has gone, probaly due to NDA not lifting till early feb.
